Teacher Recognition: Clarice Brazas

For National Teacher Appreciation Day on May 5, 2020, DonCARES honored and shout out Mrs. Clarice Brazas from The U School!! In honor of her hard work and commitment to our youth through quality teaching and social justice, DonCARES Executive Director Donovan Forrest sent Brazas a signed certificate of appreciation and Uncle Bobbies Gift Card.

Ms. Brazas is also a 2020 Lindback Awardee from The School District of Philadelphia. Each year, The School District of Philadelphia and The Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation award 60 distinguished teachers and seven principals from Philadelphia public schools who demonstrate excellence in promoting learning at the highest levels. The teacher award recipients are chosen based on their activities that improve the intellectual and character development of their students.
