On Thursday, January 23, 2020, DonCARES Mentor Carly Newton and her 12th grade mentee Domonae enjoyed a meal at The Cheesecake Factory of Philadelphia. The purpose of DonCARES restaurant outings is to give positive dining experiences for both mentees and their mentors. As an organization, we make sure that mentee leave outings knowing how to calculate a percentage tip to their server.
Since being matched in early October, both Carly and her 12th grade mentee Domonae have completed class assignments, worked on senior project, and built a lasting mentoring relationship. DonCARES of Philadelphia, Inc. administrators are proud of both scholars for their mentoring relationship success.
