Mentee of the Month- Albert Feliz

Albert Feliz is recognized as the October 2019 DonCARES of Philadelphia, Inc. Mentee of the Month. Feliz was selected because of his commitment to his education and his perseverance in overcoming life's challenges. Feliz is currently a Senior at The U School and has been a member of DonCARES of Philadelphia, Inc. since February 2017. Currently, Albert has been in the mentoring program longer than any other student as a participant since his Freshman year of high school during the 2016-2017 school year.

DonCARES Executive Director Donovan Forrest met Feliz during the 2018-2019 school year when then-Board Secretary Trey Reynolds became Feliz's mentor.

Currently Feliz is matched with Corey Bennett, a Senior Mechanical Engineering Mentor at Temple University.

After high school, Felix is considering becoming a member of Year Up (Greater Philadelphia). Both Corey and Donovan are proud of Albert and his recent academic accomplishments. Congratulations, Albert!
